documentary short
directed by: Gideon Boaz

This piece was inspired by the director’s own desire to better understand the culture he lives in and explore alternative approaches for constructing a future identity as a gay man. The film is neither fictional nor a traditional documentary, but rather a compilation of interviews presenting thoughts and personal stories that relate to the issues that mature gay men face in today’s society. The subjects in the film speak of identity, desire, prejudice, rejection, connection, loss and hope, and of navigating and negotiating the social, mental and physical changes they experience in life.
